If you've landed here, you're probably wondering what the fuck The Scrap Collective actually is. Well it started with me learning to sew as a form of art practice, and making some cool as fuck, oversized hoodies..i can't wait to make my first pair!!
I havent had a chance to use this yet, but I read through it as soon as I bought it and it totally makes sense now. I can see it coming in very handy, not just in making a hoodie, but for other sewing projects as well. As someone who isnt great at the whole colour matching, this guide is a godsend!

Recently picked up the hoodies guide. I don't buy a lot of patterns or guides typically, but I just *had to* have this one! Soooo glad I I got it, because my creativity is on fire now and I love being in that headspace! Directions are really understandable and the guide is super clear!!! Highly recommend!
I actually bought the bundle & the pants additionally. I thought they were separate patterns. She ended up refunding me for the pants pattern. Very nice of her to catch my own mistake. She’s a great person all around! Highly recommend.

Just recently started sewing but saw your hoodies on Facebook and was like those are so amazing I LOVE THEM ALL! Then I saw there was a pattern and how to guide and I said well I'm nervous I haven't tried clothing yet and bought the pattern. I have since made 3 hoodies, a shirt, and a long sleeve shirt using the scrap method. Wonderful easy to follow guide and just all around amazing.
Kayla's guide is perfect for my neurodivrse brain, full of instructions, pictures and written in a way thats encouraging and like your bestie is telling you that you CAN do it! Super easy to follow and no fluff. Old style patterns would make my brain shut down completely but this one is SO Easy to understand as soon as I read through everything clicked instantly and I dont think I even need to follow it word for word now. My teen daughter is in the process of making her first hoodie and I cant wait to start mine 100% worth buying if you love what Kayla's does!

Printing was easy. Very colorful.
Only concern, since I purchased within the past two weeks, I’ve had two updates sent to me. I printed the second one thinking it was necessary. Then two days later I got a second update.
If there’s a way to let us know what is being updated so I can just reprint that update and not the entire thing would help with printing cost, as this download is massive.
Ive managed to trace and cut the pattern can't wait to get sewing !!!
